I Made A Giant 30 Pound Burger
The Inspiration
It all started when I saw a video of a restaurant in the United States that offered a challenge to finish a giant burger within a certain time frame. The burger looked massive and I thought to myself, "I could make that at home!" So, I decided to take on the challenge and make a giant 30 pound burger.
The Preparation
I knew I had to plan this out well in advance so I went to the grocery store and bought 30 pounds of ground beef. I also got buns, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onions, pickles, and condiments to go along with it. I cleared out my kitchen counters and got all my cooking equipment ready.
The Cooking Process
I started by dividing the ground beef into six equally sized patties. Each patty weighed around 5 pounds! I seasoned them well with salt and pepper and grilled them on my outdoor grill. It took a while to cook them all because of their size, but I made sure they were cooked all the way through.
Once the patties were done, I started assembling the burger. I put a layer of lettuce on the bottom bun, followed by the first patty. Then, I added cheese, onions, pickles, and condiments. I repeated this process until all six patties were stacked on top of each other. Finally, I topped it off with the bun.
The Final Product
When I put the burger together, it was massive! I had to use a step ladder to get up to the top of it. It was definitely a sight to see. The burger weighed a total of 30 pounds and was about two feet tall. I cut it into slices and served it to my friends and family.
The Verdict
Everyone who tried the burger loved it! It was juicy, flavorful, and definitely a unique experience. We even had some leftovers, which we enjoyed for the next few days. Making a giant 30 pound burger was a fun challenge and I would definitely do it again.
